Teacher Appreciation Week
APRIL 28 - MAY 2
This year we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week on APRIL 28 - MAY 2nd to avoid SBAC testing. The FOC Board has worked closely with Mr. Montoya to design a week-long ROCK STAR themed Teacher Appreciation Celebration for our Clifford teachers, staff and administrators that work tirelessly every day to support our students.
We need your help to make the week’s activities possible. Friends of Clifford is fundraising and focusing on increasing community participation. In the past we have had less than 25 parents contribute and participate. To ensure everyone feels like they can make an impact, we have come up with three ways in which you can contribute. Please participate by donating your time (sweat equity is valuable!), money, and/or items for the raffle.

Our goal is to raise $2500 to pay for the activities and be able to provide gifts to all of our teachers. You can also give cash to the front office care/of FOC. We’re currently at $1,946 with only 28 donations - less than a quarter of the school’s families. Even though we are a small school our children benefit from the education of hard work of a staff of 40! In order to ensure that we can celebrate everyone in the manner they deserve. Every amount counts, we want to show the school that WE ALL care!
FOC Raffle For Teachers & Staff: DONATE Items & Experiences
FOC will be hosting the first annual raffle for teachers on Thursday, May 1. We (parents and community) can donate items (e.g. beauty, haircare, athleisure sets, new electronics, swag, that nice bottle of wine you have hidden in the back, maybe something from your company!). We can also donate experiences (e.g. tickets to sports games, shows). Teachers and staff will receive raffle tickets the day before so they all have a chance of winning a prize. Everything we accept is tax-deductible. Be creative and don’t be shy! EMAIL FOC President to coordinate your donation.

On Wednesday we will be hosting a lunch for the teachers and we are providing the main dishes. Please sign up to volunteer, bring a cold appetizer/dish, utensils, drinks, etc.
